Sensitivity

The sensitivity of our method exceeds that of all the other detection devices now routinely used for the in-vivo detection of cancer. We have been able to detect ~100,000 cells using our present system, and improvements could reduce this limit by an order-of-magnitude. Mammography requires 100 million cells to detect a tumor; one thousand times larger than tumors detectable with our technology. We are currently implementing improvements to improve our sensitivity by several orders of magnitude.
