Targeted Hyperthermia Therapy
An oscillating, high-frequency magnetic field can be applied to the body using our system. This magnetic field will cause nanoparticles that are bound to targeted cells to oscillate, producing localized heat due to friction. This type of targeted hyperthermia therapy should allow for target-cell destruction, while minimizing damage to surrounding tissue.
